Papillon Rub-on Transfers

french-script-rub-on-transfer

Our Rub-on Image Transfers are pressure-sensitive printed designs that can be rubbed onto any flat or pre-sealed surface. Make sure your project is clean and dust free in the area where you want to place your transfer. If you are going to transfer to a chalk painted surface it is advised to sand it smooth and seal the paint with your preferred sealer before you transfer your image. Keep your image on the protective backing sheet until you know your placement and fit to the project, then remove the backing sheet and place the design print side down on your project. The transfer sheet will not stick onto your project so it is important to secure the sheet in place firmly with masking tape to avoid it from moving during transfer. Use the transfer stick provided to rub with firm pressure on the back of the film to transfer the artwork. You will see through the film where the image has fully transferred. Remove the transfer sheet and check for any glue residue around your image, simply roll your finger over it and it will just crumble off - a pencil eraser can also remove it quickly. Seal your design with your favorite water based sealer or clear coat spray to protect it. Always put your new transfers and any left-over pieces back inside the packaging with the protective backing sheet and store in a cool and dry environment.  Please tag us on social media with your amazing creations: #bellemaisonsa #papillontransfers and ENJOY!
