Each artwork in this series was designed by Letitia herself and created with a combination of inktense pencils, watercolor and graphite. Thereafter scanned and printed with sublimation on the mugs and travel mugs. Please note that each item is carefully hand crafted and finished, therefor small variations may occur.

Meet Letitia van der Merwe,
I am intrigued by the contours and expression of the human face and eyes. Faces are both a challenge and a great joy for me. The challenge every time to start an art piece, to see how the light falls, getting the shapes right and mostly capturing the emotions.... in the end, hopefully something that expresses how we all feel.
